• A short walk from Scandic Parken you will find Ålesund storsenter, the local shopping center. Speciality shops, Scandinavian fashion and international restaurants are located over several floors.

• Epic activity park at Digernes is only a busride away, and offers a wide selection of fun things to do, such as trampolines and

• climbing.

• Liv & røre; only a 15-minute busride from Scandic Parken you will find Moa shopping center, with the popular Liv & røre. A place filled to the brim with shuffleboards, bowling, karaoke and arcade games.

Enjoy a fun day at an adventure park

For the adults:

• Løvenvold helse & velvære, across the street from Scandic Parken, is a high-end salon that offers beauty treatments and wellness products.

• Take the speed ferry to Langevågen and visit the Devold factory, a long standing norwegian brand. The outlets, cafès and museums are a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

• Fjellstua; The Aksla mountain behind Scandic Parken is a well known landmark, and often associated with Ålesund. Walk the 418 steps to the top and enjoy the stunning view from Fjellstua, the famous cafè and viewpoint. Should you wish to skip the walk, you can book a taxi at the front desk.
